Once we hit the streets of San Francisco, you’ll be shooting alongside the pros, and witnessing when, where, and how they get the shots that set them apart.
 From Fisherman’s Wharf to Chinatown, San Francisco has no shortage of vibrant neighborhoods to feast your lenses on. We’ll ferry over to the infamous concrete island of Alcatraz—also known as the Rock—where your ominous images of the penitentiary can be contrasted by shots of the island’s gentler side, playing host to tide pools, gardens, and bird colonies.

 Travel with our mentors and try out all of the latest equipment from Nikon! Including world class digital SLRs, Nikkor lenses and the Coolpix line of Digital Cameras.
The famed Painted Ladies of Haight street will provide you with classical images to bring home to your envious friends and family. These six restored Victorian gems sit prettily against a backdrop of the San Francisco skyline, giving a taste of the architecture that used to define the city before the Great Earthquake and subsequent fire of 1906.
 Capture a sunset as it sets over the San Francisco Bay. Shoot the city through the ambient mist of the city’s craggy outskirts. We’ve pre-arranged a schedule that puts you in the right place at the right time, leaving nothing between you and the light but the images you can conjure.
In the mid-day sun, the city’s bustling intersections are framed above by latticed canopies of trolley cars, casting intricate shadow grids on the pavement below. Your mentors are there to give invaluable, on-the-spot advice on technique and shot composition, and the devotion of your fellow trekkers will inspire and challenge you to expand your skills.
Our trip wouldn’t be complete without a night on the town, so get those cameras ready as we capture the city at night which will inspire your best nighttime photography, as the lights of San Francisco play off the glassy surface of the bay.
